Founded in 2013 by Dr. Geneviève Blackburn, the Montréal Institute of Aesthetic Medicine (IMEM) trains healthcare professionals in aesthetic injection techniques with a strong focus on quality and safety. Its teaching combines anatomical knowledge, technical precision, an artistic eye and attentive care to support natural-looking, personalized results. Dr. Blackburn offers an introductory course accredited by the FMOQ, as well as advanced practical training. Through IMEM, she helps advance aesthetic medicine in Quebec.

Training programs
Introduction aux injectables
Foundational training in neuromodulator and filler injections, with theory, clinical demonstrations and supervised practice on models.
Observation (“shadowing”)
Individual observation session to follow consultations, treatments and touch-ups performed by IMEM instructors.
Hands-on training course
Individual practical training to review fundamentals and perform supervised neuromodulator and hyaluronic acid injections.
Combined shadowing & hands-on course
Parcours associant une période d’observation clinique et une séance de pratique supervisée afin d’approfondir les techniques d’injection et la prise en charge des patients.
