What is Gentle Pro Max laser hair removal?
At DGB Clinic, we use Candela’s Gentle Pro Max laser for long-term hair reduction across a wide range of skin types. It combines two wavelengths in one system.
Treatment uses two settings:
Alexandrite 755 nm: suited to lighter skin tones, typically Fitzpatrick I to III.
Nd:YAG 1,064 nm: suited to darker skin tones, typically Fitzpatrick IV to VI.
Treatment time:
15 min for small areas to 90 min for the full body
Downtime:
No downtime. Temporary mild redness may occur for a few hours. Resume activities right away.

Gentle Pro Max can treat unwanted hair on the legs, arms, underarms, bikini area, back, shoulders, abdomen, upper lip, chin, cheeks, neck and other areas, including sensitive intimate areas when appropriate.
The technique:
Its Dynamic Cooling Device delivers a brief cooling spray before each laser pulse to protect the skin. Settings are adjusted to the area, hair density and skin tone.

Expected results
Immediate effect
Fewer hairs may be visible two to three weeks after the first session as treated hairs shed.
Evolution :
Hair density declines gradually with each session, and remaining hair often becomes finer. After a full course, many patients may see a 70% to 90% reduction, with changes continuing after the last visit.
Duration:
Six to eight sessions spaced four to eight weeks apart are often recommended. Yearly or twice-yearly maintenance may be needed if hormones stimulate new growth.
