Our approach

What is a body peel?

At DGB Clinic, we use medical chemical peels to improve dark spots and uneven tone on the body.

A selected solution exfoliates surface skin on areas such as the décolleté, arms, hands, back or legs, encouraging renewal for a smoother, brighter appearance.

The formula—such as glycolic, salicylic or trichloroacetic acid (TCA)—depends on the spots and skin type. Each plan begins with a medical consultation and skin preparation.

Treatment goals

Address dark spots on the body

Dark spots on the body—including sun spots and post-inflammatory pigmentation—reflect excess melanin in the skin. They often appear on the décolleté, hands, forearms, shoulders and back.

The technique:

After two to four weeks of skin preparation when needed, the physician applies a selected peel to the treatment areas. Surface cells shed and the skin renews.

Benefits:

  • Softer-looking brown spots and sun spots.

  • More even, brighter-looking skin.

  • Smoother texture through skin renewal.

  • Improvement in post-inflammatory pigmentation.

  • Results build over a series of sessions.

  • A plan tailored to skin tone and pigmentation.

Expected results

Immediate effect

Mild peeling is expected afterward. Skin tone may look more even once peeling ends, often around days five to seven.

Evolution :

Results develop over the following weeks as the skin renews. Improvements often become clearer four to six weeks after each session and build over the treatment series.

Duration:

Three to five sessions about two weeks apart may be recommended. Daily SPF 50+ and a tailored maintenance plan help preserve results and limit new pigmentation.

FAQ

Your questions, answered
